How to Apply Liquid Eyeliner — Step by Step

• Step 1: Apply eyeshadow first — liquid liner is always the final eye step before mascara
• Step 2: Use small overlapping dashes rather than one continuous stroke — easier to control and correct for beginners
• Step 3: For a wing: draw the flick first (following lower lash line extended upward at an angle), then connect back to the upper lash line
• Step 4: Fill any gaps with the tip of the liner after the main line is drawn
• Step 5: Allow to fully dry (30–60 seconds) before applying mascara — wet liner smudges easily
